The drive-thru was created to make it convenient and easy for us to get our food on the go without ever getting out of our cars. If you have a little one sleeping in the car a drive through is a great option because you do not have to wake up your sleeping beauty. I think the drive through was meant to be stress free but often times it becomes a stressful experience. When children cannot see the pictures on the menu children tend to become frustrated. Also, it seems that there is never enough time for everyone to decide what they would like to order. If you go through a drive through during lunch time there are so many cars behind you that you feel as if you must order quickly. Here is how you and your children can have a stress free drive through experience:
What you need:
2. Clear sheet
3. Your camera
So next time you pull up to a drive through take a picture of the menu. Develop one to be 8×10 and then as many children as you have develop that many 4×6 photos. Simply put them in your binder. Keep the binder in the car and whenever you need to go through a drive through give each of your children a picture of the menu.
Most fast food restaurants do not offer printable menus on their websites. McDonald’s does. 🙂
If you want to know what ingredients they used in anything you are ordering you can print out sheets from the yelp website.
Have fun….. 🙂
