How to Make a Pallet Mud Kitchen

The prayers the night hubby made girls a mud kitchen consisted of thanking God that their daddy had made them a mud kitchen. It might seem like a small thing to do but for our girls it meant everything to them. To them it meant that their daddy loves them because he took a few hours out of his day to build something that they could enjoy. In life it really is the small things that are the most important things.

A mud kitchen always fascinated me. I wanted my girls to have their own but I was afraid that it might be too late for them. Maybe they outgrew it. I told my mother-in-law about the mud kitchen idea and she came the following day with a box of cooking pots and pans for my girls to play with. The following few days my two younger girls were making mud pies so I knew that maybe it wasn’t too late to make them a mud kitchen.

One of the coolest things about this mud kitchen is that we didn’t spend any money on it. We used two old pallets and then built around it with material laying around on our five acre property. We also used things my father had and things my mother-in-law gave us.

It only took a few hours to make this mud kitchen.

Use what you have and get creative. There are so many ways to make your mud kitchen. You can paint it or leave it as is.
