Russian Blues

Our Russian blues originally came from Spain. These are the English type of Russian Blues. They have a natural smile, striking green eyes, and a silver soft coat.

Russian blues are so sweet. I can hold all my blues outside in my hands without thinking that they will scratch me or try to get out of my hands. It’s hard to say that about a lot of other cat breeds. They are shy at first and are a quiet cat breed.

They have energy. Not too much but more than Maine coons for sure. They can climb up all over the place.

They are a healthy breed and there is nothing one has to really worry besides making sure the cat doesn’t get over weight. They can live up to 15 to 20 years.

Oftentimes a Russian blue will attach to one of the family members. This isn’t always the case though. Our Sasha is so loving towards everyone in our family.

We recieved Outstanding Cattery through TICA.

We are a closed cattery which means we don’t let families into our home. We meet families in Reno or Redding for pickup.  We don’t require deposits upfront. Kittens can leave at 12 weeks old. Our kittens don’t leave fixed because no local vet will fix them until they are 6 months of age. We also don’t microchip our kittens. We leave that option for pet owners. We follow more of a natural approach with our human babies and pets. 1 year health guarantee will be given. New owner is required to fix kitten by 8 months. Cats actually have to be fixed to live a happy and good life with owners. If males are not fixed they can become (as they age) aggressive towards other male cats in the home or spray in your home. Females have to be fixed since they go into heat so often. Kittens cost $2,500.

All kittens come with TICA registration and 1 year health guarantee.

Russian blues are not hypoallergenic.

All breeding cats are genetically tested.

We are not on Facebook. We do not message people on social media about our cats. Those are scams. Please go to TICA and find breeders there. Do not use social media.
